How to clean & care for your Styletto
Your Styletto paint brush is an investment. You can ensure the life of your brush by cleaning them thoroughly and properly at the end of each painting session.
1. Rinse the brush in turpentine if you’ve been using oil or alkyd based paints or lukewarm water if your’ve been using a water or latex based paint.
2. Wash gently using mild soap and warm water
3. Rinse and repeat until there is no trace of colour left.
4. Rinse again in clean, lukewarm water to remove any traces of soap.
5. Shake off water.
6. Use your fingers to gently shape the brush head into its correct shape.
NOTE: Using a nylon comb designed for paint brushes will help place filaments in the correct position.
7. Leave brush to dry at room temperature. Do not rest on its head as it will dry misshapen. Instead, stand on the back of the handle or hang to dry using the hole in the handle.
